Consumers Wins Permanent Possession of Safety Trophy Nearly one hundred employees in the O’Neill district of Con sumers Public Power were honored here Saturday evening for working over 645,000 man hours without a disablfag injury The safety dinner-meeting was highlighted by the presentation of the traveling safety trophy for 1956. The district, which %von the goidpiated, clock-adorned trophy in 1953 and 1955, now has per manent possession. Presentation was made by R. L. Schacht of Columbus, general manager of CPPD in Nebraska. The award was received by H. G. Kxuse of O’Neill in behalf of K. L. V an Voortus, O’Neill district manager, who tiad been summoned to Scottsbluff because of a death in his family.
