Bids were received for tiling
the floor in the southwest corner
room in the basement of the
Courthouse Annex. After review
ing the bids, motion by Fnckel,
seconded by Ernst to accept the
bid of Biglins for asbestos tile to
be installed for $97.30. Motion
carried.

tor wage be given $.25 per hour
raise. Wage to be $1.75 per hour.

500-600 Cattle Expected Today
We are expecting between 500-600 cattle today (Thurs
day)—an upturn as a result of the nice weather. There
will be 300-350 calves and short yearlings with the balance
yearling cows and butcher cattle.
Early listings include: 104 steer and heifer calves from
north of O'Neill, all one brand; 44 steer and heifer calves
from Spencer, weighing 475 pounds; 21 yearlings weighing
750 pounds, steers and heifers; 34 steer calves from Em
met.
It should be a good sale for this season. TWb registered
two-year-old Hereford bulls will be sold immediately fol
lowing the hog sale. ■
