”Hydrox Sweetheart Pudding” Offers Valentine Fun for Littlest Cooks For the littlest cook at your house, here’s a special treat: a Valentine she can make herself and then enjoy eating with her young friends! It’s a peppermint-pink delight, trimmed party-style with whipped cream "lace” and a big delicious “heart” of cream fHled chocolate cookies. This brand-new dessert for St. Valentine’s Day, "Hydrox Sweetheart Pudding”, can be made in a jiffy; and it boasts two layers, top and bottom, of those rich crunchy cookies children love. Your small-fry chef can make it, this easy way: "Hydrox Sweetheart Pudding” 2 packages vanilla ’4 teaspoon peppermint pudding mix extract (optional) Few drops red food coloring ’i cup heavy cream, whipped 1 9-oz. package Hydrox Cookies Prepare pudding as package directs. Stir in red coloring and, if desired, peppermint extract. Blend well. Cool to room temperature. Put aside 8 of the cream-filled chocolate cookies to decorate top of ftudding, and use remainder of the package of cookies to form a ayer covering the bottom of an 8-inch square shallow’ cake pan. Pour cooled pudding over layer of cookies. Carefully arrange re maining 8 cookies on the top center of the pudding in the shape of a heart. Chill. Using a pastry tube with fluted tip, add a whipped cream "lace” edging along all 4 sides of pudding, and outline a “lace” heart on top of the cookie heart. Makes 8 servings. Hospital Notes ST.
