Mr and Mrs. Ralph Gray of Blue Hill spent the holidays with his mother, Mrs. Evelyn Gray, and the Cordes Walker at Page, the Duane Gray family family of Page, the Duane Gray family of O’Neill, the Keith Weier and Gene Baber families at Plainview, also with the Rose relatives at Brunswick. Ickes and sons, Lionel and Denny at the Grace Merry man home. Mr .and Mrs. Bob Asher and children made a farewell call on his mother, Mrs. Frieda Asher. The Ashers are moving from O’Neill to Rapid City , S. D , where he will work in another of the Phil Cohn stores. Ballantyne and! daughter, Faye Irene, went to Lincoln Monday after spending 10 days at Page, where they had new year’s dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Ballantyne enroute to Lamoni, la., where Faye Irene is a sophomore at Graceland | college. Mrs. Ballantyne teaches j the sixth grade in the city schools at Lamoni. Mrs. A. O. Weber was hostesses to her family for their holiday feast on Wednesday, December 26. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Haynes of Denton and Miss Viola Haynes of O’Neill were dinner guests of Mr and Mrs. Allen Haynes on Christ mas day. Mr. and Mrs. Haynes joined the group of relatives at the William Neubauer home in the afternoon which included the Misses Nelle and Grace Wood, Mr.-. Emma Canady, Mrs Leo Neubauer, Mrs. Carrie Sterner, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stewart. They were joined for supper by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Haynes and daugh ter. An oy ster stew was served. Games were played. Prayer Conference Scheduled— PAGE—The Elk horn Valley Holiness prayer conference will be held Saturday at the Wesle van Methodist church at Page. The morning session will open at 10 30 o’clock and will be fol lowed with a basket dinner at noon at the parsonage. The afternoon service will open at 2 o’clock. Jerry Terrill was soloist at the Sunday morning service at the Wesleyan church and direct ed the choir. He sang "Hiding in the Shelter of the Rock” with his sister, Mrs. Lyle Parsons of Miltonvale, Kans., accompanying him at the piano.
