Sick & Injured AMELIA—Paul Fisher drove to Omaha Tuesday, December 11, for medical treatment of skin cancer on his face. He will have a series of five treatments. . . Reverend Philben fell and broke his collar bone recently. . . Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Johnston were O'Neill callers Monday. Beside suffering | with a broken ankle, she is now , confined to her bed with a blood I clot near the ankle. . . Mrs. Emma ; Lindsey feLl Thursday evening j while crossing the foot bridge at the hall. She received injuries to her knee and ankle, but no bones were broken. Walker re turned late Wednesday, Decem ber 12. from an Omaha hospital j where he had submitted to ma jor surgery. He had been hos pitalized five weeks. PAG El—Mrs. Bertha Reed is making a “nice recovery" from her illness but is still hospitalized. . Muss Sherry Stewart entered St. Anthony’s hospital for ^ an emergency appendicitomy on Sat urday. . • Miss Kathleen Walkei entered the hospital for an ap pendectomy Thursday. December 13. Kent Stauffer was to be transferred to an Omaha hospital on Wednes day for treatment for carbuncles on his head. . . Mrs. Joe* Beelaeit returned from O’Neill Friday where she had been hospitalized at St. Anthony’s hospital. j CHAMBERS—Mrs. Mina My ers of Chambers received word that her son, Joe Myers, of North Loup, had undergone major sur gery at an Ord hospital recently. Mr. Myers is known at Chambers. LeRoy Holcomb is a patient | in St. Anthony’s hospital in O’ Neill where he underwent sur gery Wednesday, December 12. . -J Dennis Hoerle underwent an ap- j pendectomy at St. Anthony s hos pital Friday, December 14. He w the son of Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Hoerle. . . T. E. Alderson of Chambers receiveu -* that his brother, Roy Alderson of Dallas, Ore., was in the hospital there. Mr. Alderson is well - known in this community. EWING—Mrs. William Spence! and Miss Hazel Ruby went to O -1 Neill Saturday to see their niece, Mrs. Joe Beelaert, a patient in bt. Anthony's hospital. She under went surgery last week. . . Clif ford Hahlbeck, town marshal,, had the misfortune to fall while; decorating the Christmas tree on) nain street Wednesday afternoon, December 12. The fall resulted in a badly sprained ankle. He was confined to his home lor a few davs but is now able to get around with the aid of crutches. ROCK FALLS—James Curran returned home Thursday, Decem ber 13, after having spent a week in St. Anthony’s hospital. RIVERSIDE — Mr. and Mrs. Leo Miller visited Ruth Switzer in the Antelope Memorial hos pital Sunday evening. DORSEY — Coleen Babl has; been on the sick list for a few days. _ ! Mr. and Mrs. M. J.
