became the parents of three chil
dren His wife died in Septem
ber, 1940, following a long ill
ness
Mr. Clark was also preceeded
in death by his father, who died
in 1930; his brother, Leslie, who
died in 1941, and by his mother,
who died April 29, 1956.
While living in Holt county,
Mr. Clark was a member of the
Methodist church here. He was
a member of the Masonic and
Odd Fellows lodges, American
Legion and also the Wranglers
club at Burwell.
On February 3, 1945, he was
united in marriage with Mrs.
Frances DeLashmutt at Burwell,
and he entered the lumber busi
ness there.
Survivors include; Widow —
Frances; son—Norbert E. Clark
of O’Neill; daughters—Mrs. Ro
ller! E. (Delores) Stevens of Val
ley and Mrs. Billy (Wilda) Lind
say of Burwell; stepsons—Keith
and Harry DeLashmutt, both of
Burwell, and Leslie DeLashmutt
of North Hollywood, Calif.; 12
grandchildren; sisters—Mrs. El
mer R (Ina) Rogers of Granite
Falls, Wash., and Mrs. Ralph
(Mildred) Moore of Alamenda,
Calif.; brother—Eugene E. of In
man.
