MURPHY, Division Engineer 24-26 Killed When Thrown from Car— CHAMBERS — Mr. and Mrs. William Reningcr received word that their niece, .Grace Lee Sholtz, was killed in a highway accident near Bremerton, Wash. Miss Sholtz had swerved to avoid being struck by a car, hit the curb and was thrown from her machine, striking her head against the pavement. Miss Sholtz made her home with her sister, Mrs. Roland Jackson, and Mr. Jackson, in Chambers several years ago. South Siders Meet— EMMET—The South Side club met recently with Mrs. Fritz Brockman. There were 10 mem bers and two guests present. The lesson was on the uses of spices in food and was presented by Mrs. Bob Fox. Mr. and Mrs. Emmet Crabb recently returned from a two weeks’ vacation in Indiana. They visited their son. They traveled through Michigan and across the Straits, Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota and then home.
