Kelly - Schneider Nuptials at Page PAGE — The sanctuary of the Methodist church at Page on Sunday, September 23, was the setting for the pretty wedding of Miss Marlene Elizabeth Kelly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harofd Kelly of Page, and Henry Dale Schneider, son of Mr, and Mrs Clarence Schneider of Exeter. Rev, Lisle Mewmaw, pastor, officiated at the double-ring .1 pm., ceremony Ladand Dado of Fairmont, vo calist, sang "1 Love You Truly,” “Because” and "The Lord’s Pray er." Mrs. Dale Jensen of Exeter accompanied him and played the wedding music. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length gown which featured a full skirt which was fashioned of tiers of ruffled net over satin. The chan tiliy lace bodice was made with a mandarin collar and long sleeves with points over th° hands A lace jacket completed the ensemble and a seed pearl and rhinestone studded head band held the pleated cape-style veil. The bride wore a pearl necklace and earrings, a gift from the bridegroom. Her w,edding bouquet was fashioned of pink and white carnations. Mrs Victor Hoggins of Omaha, matron-of-honor, was gowned in a iitrapless ballerina-length dress of aqua net over taffeta, comple mented by a m itching stole. Her bouquet was also of pink and white carnations. Miss Sherry Stewart, maid-of honor, wore a gown identically like that of the matron-of-honor and carried the same type of bou quet. M'ss Stewart is a friend of the bride. Karen Kay Kelly, aster of the bride, was candlelighter and wore a bailcrina-length gown of pink net over taffeta. The flowergirls, little Misses Starla Schneider of Lincoln and Kathryn Dado of Fairmont, wore pink net baller ina-length gowns over polished cotton. All three wore matching head pieces. Gale Galousha of Lincoln act ed an bestman for his friend, and Gene Kelly of Tilden and Vordel Schneider of Exeter ushered. The bride’s mother wore a charcoal, satin - backed crepe dress with black and red acces sories. The mother of the bride groom appeared in an aqua silk witii black and white accessories. The sanctuary was decorated fur the ocasion with baskets of mixi>d flowers and potted plants, which were repeated in the church parlors, where a reception was held immediately following the ceremony. Miss Lois Carson of Hyannis, cousin of the bride, presided at the guest table. Miss Elaine Cla sey and Mrs. Jerry Lamason were in charge of the gift table. Miss LaVonne Arp of Lincoln poured and Miss Jo Ann Brad dock of Hastings served the wed mg cake. Mrs. Don Summers and Miss Elaine Clasey were wait resses Mesdames Elmer Trowbridge, Art Grass and Herbert Steinberg were in charge of the kitchen ar rangements. Following his separation from the air force, the bridegroom has been employed by Western Elec tric Co. He is a graduate of the Fxeter high school. After a short wedding trip, the couple will he at home at 1923 B st., Lincoln. Coloradoans Are Honored at Picnic— The Otto Lorenz home was the cone Sunday, September 16. of a picnic in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wayman of Boulder, Colo. C. P. Turner and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Strong and John COMPLETES LAW PAGE— Friends here received word that Ross Rakow of Seattle, Wa-.h,, completed nis law course there and passed liis bar exam inations. He will practice law as a member of a firm at White Sal mon, Wash. The Rakow family left Page several years ago for Washington. Attend Kearney C ouncil Session Mr. E. A.
