Page School Will Open September 3 PAGE—Supt and Mrs. Stanley Gross and children arrived Sat urday from Greeley, Colo., where he attended college this summer. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Parks. Mr. Blezek had just re turned from Greeley, Colo, where he attended the summer term of college. Mrs. Blezek, who had been employed at Omaha since their marriage last spring, joined her husband at Page. They are enroute to Victorville, Calif, where Mr Blezek will teach in dustrial arts in the school system there. The Parks’ other daughter, Lois Jean of San Diego, Cali?., called and talked with the fam ily Sunday e%-ening. Mr. ana Mrs. Fred Wood ac companied their son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs. Vernc-n Wiseman, and daughter to the Black Hills on a vacation trip, leaving Monday, August 13, and returning Thursday evening. Remington Dies in Washington CHAMBERS— Word has been received by friends at Chambers of the death of Mrs. Charles Remington of Sedro Woolley. Wash., on Tuesday, August 14. Burial was at Sedro W'oolley on Thursday, August 16. Mrs Remington. 68, was for merly Mrs. Ruth Davidson of Se dro Woolley. She married Mr Remington in 1953. Mr. Remington lived for many years in the Chambers and Am elia vicinities. Miss Clenne Bced Ls Shower Honoree— CHAMBERS — A prenuptial shower, sponsored by a number of high school classmates, was held in the Methodist church parlors Friday evening, August 17, in honor of Miss Cleone Heed. The program was in the form of a radio broadcast with several girls competing in a contest for “queen for a day,” the guest-of honor receiving most of the votes.
