Maw of | Corona, Calif. Tw<- large vases of gladioli! dec ited the front of the church.! .,.ven in marriage by her fa-! tiler, the bride appeared in aj floor-length white satin and net gown The fitted bodice was) trimmed at the portrait neckline v/ith lace medallions trimmed v/ith pearls, a net yoke rising to a high neckline. The long net sleeves tapered to points at the wrists She wore pearl earrings, a gift from the bridegroom, and a necklace of pearls. Her tiered fingertip veil was heid in Diace by a pearl tiara. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and lilics-of-the-val ley backed with lace. Miss Carolyn Hiatt, who was maid-of-honor, wore a street length summer nylon and cotton of pale pink trimmed with white. She wore a small matching hat. Her colonial bouquet was of, white carnations accented with pink net. The bridegroom appeared in a ligh grey business suit with a white carnation boutonniere. Warren Peden, who served as bestman, appeared in a light blue-grey business suit. The junior ushers were Bruce Klein of Harlan, la , a nephew ( of the bride, and William Ocltjen j of Creston a nephew of the bride groom. Candlelighters, who wore pas tel shaded short dresses, were nieces of the bride, Jo Anne Aim of Dorsey and Gretchen Klein of Harlan. Mrs. R R. Herley played the organ. Richard Smithson, soloist, sang "Through the Years,” “Where E’er You Walk” and j “The Lord’s Prayer.” Miss Clara Aim, an aunt of the bride, had charge of the guest j book. The gift table was in charge of ] Mrs. Ray Bettenhausen of Hart-! ingten and the Misses Faye Oelt- ! jen of Creston and Patty Pierson, j A reception for the family and friends was held at the home of the bride's parents. F r her going-away ensemble, the bride chose a white cotton embroidered with pink with a matching pink duster and white accessories. After a short wedding trip, the couple will live in an apartment in the home of the bride’s par ents Mrs. Maw. who was graduated from O’Neill high school in 1953. w as employed at the business of fice of the Northwestern Bell Telephone company Mr Maw, who was graduated from Columbus high school, is associated with O’Neill Motor parts, Inc., a wholesale firm. The occasion was in honor of his 84th birthday anniversary. A 1 o’clock dinner was served. A birthday cake and gifts were presented the honored guest. Present were his daughter, Mrs. Wilda Carr, and family of Holdrege, Mrs. Walter Tressler and daughter of Ogal lala. his son, Lyle Dierks, and family of Ewing and son. Young, Father of O’Neillite, Dies Harold Young left last Thurs day for Nashville, Tenn., where he was called by the illness of his father, E. E. Young, 90. Mr. Young died belorc his son arriv ed. Mrs. Robert Drake of Nash ville accompanied the body which was forwarded to Wayne where he was buried nejtt to his wife. The funeral was held Sun day afternoon. Mrs. Conard and Neta will visit at the home of her mother, Mrs. Retta Phelps of Cherry Grove, and also at the home of her sister, Mrs. Earl Wells. The ladies wanted to be with Mrs. Wells because her hus band will undergo surgery. Earl is a brother of Mrs. Thomson. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Millard drove home to spend the week - end with the Osborns. Clark Family in Reunion at Inman INMAN — A reunion of the Merrit Clark family was held at Inman during the past w e e k Mr. Clark was one of the early settlers in this community, com ing here from New York state. About 30 descendants of the Clark family were here, includ ing: Mr. and Mrs. Roy H. Clark of Kenmore. N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Clark of Costa Mesa, Calif.: Mr. and Mrs. Richard Clark of Indianapolis, Ind.; Mrs. Myra Lewis of Buena Park, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. August Eloomquist of Hawthorne, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Clark of Walsh, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Ed ward Clark of Glenrock, Wyo.; Mr.\and Mrs. Alvin G. Keyes at a picnic supper; last Thursday noon at the home of Miss Mildred Keyes at a picnic dinner; Thursday evening at the country home of Mrs. Blanche Rouse at a picnic supper; Friday all were guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Milton McKathnie for a picnic dinner and supper. Saturday was reunion day when all met at the Methodist church annex for a no-host din ner. About 70 were present. Be sides those previously mentioned, invited guests include! Mr. and Mrs. Louis Fiedler of Aurora, 111.; Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Clark. Mi. and Mrs. Roy M Gannon, Mr. and Mrs. James M. McMa han and Elwin Smith. Supper was also served at the church annex. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Keyes were hosts on Sunday when dinner was again served at the church j annex. About 60 members ol the Clark and Keyes families at- j tended church services at the | Methodist church Sunday. Cal | Geary, lay leader, conducted the opening service in the absence of the regular pastor, Rev. L. E. Mewmaw. Mrs. Lawrence Clark of Walsh, Calif., gave the dedi cation service when the illumi nated cross on the church, which | was given as a memorial for Merritt Clark, Mrs. Anna Rich ards Clark and Mrs. Ellen Abobtt Clark, was dedicated; also the three-tier serving table given in memory of Mrs. Hazel Keyes by her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Fiedler of Aurora, 111. Mrs. Clark also had charge of the remainder of the worship service'. A bouquet of flowers was presented for the service by members of the Clark family. The only members of the Clark family unable to be present were Ralph Lewis and Mr. and Mre Conrad Keefe, till of Buena Park. Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Hadley Curtis and son, Loon, of Collins ville, Okla. Saturday afternoon the group received a telegram of greetings from the absentee members.
