Gleed left Sunday, June 17, for
1 Lincoln where she joined a group
I of Methodist young people from
over the state. The group board
| ed a chartered bus for a tour of
! the Southern and Eastern states.
The first stop was to be Kansas
j City. Mo The tour is sponsored
! by the Woman's Society of
Christian Service and the youth
fellowship of the Methodist
church.
Miss Gleed and three others,
one from Bassett, one from Lau
rel and one from Bloomfield, were
selected to represent the north- i
east district of the Nebraska con
ference. The group will visit all
places of interest on the tour and
will be fed and housed by Meth
odist church groups enroute.
The tour is scheduled through
Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia,
West Virginia, Ohio and to Chi
cago, 111.
Miss Gleed, a senior in Cham
bers high school, is the youngest I
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd
Gleed of Chambers. She expects
to he home about July 3.
