Cattle receipts 354 head:
Our usual good run of stockcrs
and feeders sold on a very
steady market while butcher
cows and bulls looked another
25 to 50 cents per hundred
higher. Complementing the
regular offering were 40 Angus
bulls from the Olson Bros.
Ranch. Lightweight steers un
der 650 lbs. sold from $19.00
to $21.75 cwt. Comparable
quality heifefs $16.75 to $18.15
cwt. Quality was good but only
a few choice kinds were offer
ed. Heavier steers from $17.00
to $19.00; good feeding heifers,
$14.00 to $16.50 cwt.
Butcher cows continued to
make up the bulk of the run.
Top prices and the most active
market in weeks continued to
draw a nice offering. Top beef
cows, $11.75 to $13.20 cwt.
Cutter kinds, $10.50 to $11.50.
Canners, mainly $9.75 to $10.25
cwt. Bulls, $12.00 to $13.75
cwt.
