They brought him to Page where he will spend a 21 - day leave. He has been stationed at Ft. la;wis, Wash., and expects duty in Alaska when he returns. Mrs Elmer Trowbridge, lay delegate, and Rev. Lisle Mew maw, pastor of the Methodist church, went to Fremont Tues day where they are attending the Nebraska conference of the Methodist church. Those attending the Wayne State Teachers’ college are Bren da Beelaert, Margie and Helen Finch, Betty Spangler, Thelma and Leona Summers, Faye Ruth erford, Shirley Vrooman, Elmer and Lois Saltz and Lois Elsberry. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pease and sons of Center were Sunday guests in the home of her moth er. Mrs. Ethel Waring. Mr and Mrs. Otto Terrill went to Battle Creek Sunday and brought her mother, Mrs. Alma Tegler, bark to her home at Page. She had spent the past week visiting relatives there and attended decoration day exer cises. Mr and Mrs. Lyle Parsons and family of Miltonvale, Kans., ar rived Sunday at the Otto Ter rill home. Mr. Parsons returned to Kansas but his family re mained for a week’s visit with her parents. Miss Judy Troshynski of De troit, Mich., is visiting the Tro ■triynslu families in this vicinity. She and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Tro shynski and sons were Tuesday supper guests at the home of Mr. md Mrs. Dan Troshynski. Mrs. Dan Troshynski spent Monday afternoon at the Walt Christon home at Ewing. Rich ard Christon is spending a 30 day leave with his parents. Eight of the membership classes taught by Rev. Lisle M e w m a w during the Bible ichool were received into the church as members during the morning service Sunday: Gary and Bruce Bowen, James Nissen, Charlene Fusselman, Bonnie Heiss, Rita Larson, Ruth Evelyn Mewmaw and Linda Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Terrill of Council Bluffs, la., were over night guests Saturday of his mother, Mrs. Celia Terrill. Mrs. Terrill accompanied them to their home on Sunday for an ex tended visit. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Park and son, Ronnie, were Wednesday, May 30. guests of her brother in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Brandt of Wausa. Mrs. J. O. Ballantyne and daughter, Faye Irene, returned to their home at Page on Wed nesday from Lamoni, la., where they attended Graceland college the past year. Rev. M Charles Kamber officiated in a m scting of peonies and yellow M roses. ■ The bride, given in marriage I by her father, was gowned in clipped rosepoint lace and tulle over satin, with a fitted bodice, “V” neckline and a bouffant, floor-length hooped skirt of lace flounced with tulle. Her illusion veil fell from a lace cap trimmed with rhinestones and she carried a crescent arrangement of Am erican beauty roses. Delores KaDtowski, sister oi the bridegroom, was the maid of-honor and Ila Rae Tuch, cou sin of the bride, was bridesmaid. They were gowned in aqua and yellow waltz-length dresses of satin and tulle, respectively, with rhinestone and net crowns. They caried aqua and yellow carna tions. Gordon Peters, cousin of the bride, was ringbearer and Joan Birmeier was flower girl. Both were dressed in white. Leo Kalkowski, brother of the bridegroom, was bestman and Larry Kalkowski, cousin of the bridegroom, was groomsman. All wore light suits and carnation boutonnieres. Ivan Thompson and Leon Birmeier were ushers. Mrs. Kalkowski wore blue sheer and Mrs. Tuch appeared in rose lace. Both wore white car nation corsages. The wedding reception was held at the American Legion hall for one hundred guests. Mrs. Dale Barta of Verdigre and Mrs. Jun ior Wilson of Verdel displayed the gifts. Mrs. Cy Burbach of Wynot cut the cake and Mrs. Ray Peters of Niobrara poured. After a trip to the Black Hills the couple will reside on his fa ther's farm near Lynch.
