C. E. Worth, Wife to Note Anniversary Mr and Mrs. C. E. Worth, who were married at the Methor.ist parsonage June 7, 1916, by Rev erend Bruce, will celebrate their 4bth wedding anniversary Sun day, June 10, with their children and families, a few close rela tives and friends. The affair will be held at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Ben Wetzler It will be a quiet observance. The occasion will also mark the ninth wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs. Ben Wetzler Mrs, Worth was born in Phil lips and Mr Worth in the Agee district north of O’Neill. Their children, who expect to be present, are: Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wetzler, Mr, and Mrs. Roy A. Worth, Mr and Mrs. Adolph Wetzler of Gregory, S.D., Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Page of Page, and their families, and T/Sgt Char les E. Worth of Wichita, Kans. Their son, Junior, who is serv ing with the armed forces in Ja pan, will be unable to attend. Mrs. Worth’s brother, Roy Karr, and Mrs. Karr of Spencer ejcpect to be present. SICK O NEILL LOCALS Mr and Mrs Phillip Aitken and son, Jim, of Lincoln were guests of Mr. and Mr* W. J Froelich Sunday and Monday. Mr. and Mrs C. J. Gatz and Mr. and Mrs Edward M. Galla gher left Monday morning for a fishing trip at Willow Lake Minn. Mr and Mrs. George Hammond and children and Mrs Jerry Ry an of South Sioux City left or Monday for Denver, Colo. They will visit Mrs. Ryan’s other daughter, Mrs. Jack Smith, anc family and other relatives. Mrs H. J. Hammond, who spent the winter with her sisters in Den ver, will return home with them They expect to arrive today (Thursday) or Friday. Misses Rosemary and Ellen Corkle have completed then terms at St. Mary’s college, Xav ier. Kans., and are at home. Inez Alexander Becomes Bride STUART—Miss Inez Alexan der, daughter of Mr and Mrs, Ward Alexander of Stuart, be came the bride of Marlyn D Schrader, son of Mr and Mrs. William Schrader of Brocksburg, on Sunday, May 27, at 10 a m. The double-ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Gene Ander son of Newport in his home. A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s par ents for the relatives. The bride was graduated from Stuart high school with the class I of 1955 and the bridegroom is en gaged in farming with his father. June bride in First Pres byterian chureh ceremony Lois L. Harder, Lt. Petersen Wed in Sunday Rite Miss Lois Lorraine Harder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Harder of O’Neill, became the bride of Lt. Weldon Burdette (“Don") Petersen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Petersen of O' Neill Sunday, June 3, at 4 p.m., at First Presbyterian church, liev. J. Olen Kennell officiated at the double-ring ceremony before a chancel decorated with white and pink gladioli and tall white candles. Given in marriage by her fa ther, the bride appeared in a gown of chantilly lace and nylon tulle over shimmering satin. It featured a "V” neckline finished with pleated tulle. The long lace sleeves tapered over the hand and her full tulle skirt fell into a sweep train, which was attached to a lace yoke extending over the hip line. Her French illusion fin gertip veil was attached to a bandeau cap of lace edged with pleated tulle and held securely with hearts of pearls. She wore a single strand of pearls and car ried a cascade bouquet of pink elf roses. Miss Patricia Gibb of Buhl, Ida., as maid-of-honor, appeared in a lloor-length gown of pink nylon lace over pink taffeta. Her head bandeau and lace mitts were the same shade as her gown. She carried a colonial bouquet of white daisies, which was edged with pink. Miss Jane Peterson, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Sylvia Harder, sister of the bride, as bridesmaids, appeared in identi cal frocks of pink embroidered nylon fashioned with draped off the-shoulder necklines and em pire bodices. The skirts flared into danseuse - length fullness. Their head bandeaux and mitts were of dress matching material. Their bouquets matched that of the maid - of - honor. All wore matching pearls. Gerald Payne of Omaha served as bestman. He and the bride groom wore white dinner jackets and black trousers. The ushers, who wore navy suits and white carnation bou tonnieres, were Ted Lindberg and John Brady of Dorsey. John D Harder, brother of the bride, was candlelighter. Miss Donna Crabb. soloist, sang “All for You,” “O, Perfect Love” and "O, Lord Most Merciful,' with organ accompaniment tn Miss Nancy Kennel]. Miss Carolyn Hiatt had charge of the guest book, which the guests signed as they filed out oi the church. A reception in the church par lors for one hundred guests fol lowed The reception table, which was pink and white, was centered by a four-tier cake surrounded by decorations of huge sugared wedding bells. Daisies and lilies of-the-valley were used to dec orate the parlors. Mrs. Ray Shelhamer cut the wedding cake. Misses Patrick DeBolt and Hazel Marie Johnsor had charge of the gift table. Assisting at the reception were the Mesdames Felix Hendrick and Arlo Hiatt, who poured. Mr. and Mrs. Petersen are both graduates of O’Neill high school Mrs. Petersen, who graduated from Hastings college, was ele mentary music supervisor at Plattsmouth. She was affiliated with Chi Omega Psi. Mr. Petersen, who is stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., at tended Kemper academy in Mis souri Washington university, St Louis, Mo., and the University of Nebraska. He belongs to Pi Kap pa Alpha. After a wedding trip to the Oz arks and St. Louis, the couple will reside at Ft. Leonard Wood. Out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. M. M.
