Mr. and Mrs. Orval Conner of
Norfolk brought his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Deemer Connor, home
on Wednesday, May 30. Mr
Conner had been a patient at a
Norfolk hospital for surgery on
one of his hands. Before return
1 ing to Norfolk, Mr. and Mrs.
! Conner decorated graves at the
cemetery... Alfred Doud is a sur
gical patient at Our Lady of
l>nirdes hospital in Norfolk. Mrs.
Doud accompanied her son and
daughter-in-law’, Mr and Mrs
Paul Doud, to visit him on Sun
day. Mrs. Ethel Cooper and
Frank Bollwitt are in “good con
dition" in Our Lady of Lourdes
hospital in Norfolk.

sleeve had her tonsils removed
last Thursday at St. Anthony’s

turned Monday from the Luther

having been a patient there since

McElvain’s arm is responding
well to treatment at St. Joseph’s
hospital in Omaha and she is

Little Teddy Dean McKenzie nad
three-day measles. He was fine
Monday. . . Dale Perry fractured
bones in the instep, left foot,
when he dropped a filled 10-gal
lon container. The accident hap
pened Wednesday, May 30. The
foot is in a cast.

kin returned Saturday from St.
Anthony’s hospital where she had
been hospitalized after breaking
her arm Monday morning, May
28. . . Mr. and Mrs. Art Walter
trtok their daughter, Charlene, to
Sioux City Sunday where she was
to undergo surgery on her eyes
Monday morning. Mrs. Walter’s
niece, Doreen deed, is caring for
the other children and the home
during their absence.
VENUS—Ardith Jackson is a
patient at the St. Anthony’s hos-1
pital. Ardith is the daughter of
Andrew Jackson of Orchard. She
makes her home with her sister.

first part of last week. He had a
growth removed from his hand
He is at home now and his hand 1
is healing “satisfactorily”.

nesday. His condition is “good.”
