Mrs. Don Templemeyer is having her tonsils removed Thursday. . . Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Robertson returned last Thurs day from Rochester, Minn., where Mr. Robertson had been admitted as an emergency pa tient. They had been away two weeks. The condition of Mr. Ro bertson's ulcer is “better". Mr and Mrs. C. E. Jones met there in Sioux City. . Mr. and Mrs Tom Watson of Rapid City, S.D who are visiting her mother Mrs. Tess Murray, left Tuesda; to visit his father, Earl Watson, ii Clarkson Memorial hospital ir Omaha. Word from Earl Watsoi a surgical patient at the Clark son hospital in Omaha is to th< effect that he is recovering satis factorily. LYNCH—Mrs. Martha Schind ler was taken to the Lynch hospi tal, Tuesday, May 22, with a se vere case of influenza. . . Georgt Tuch, who stumbled on the street one day recently, suffered a fractured leg bone and is get ting along “very well” at the Sa cred Heart hospital. . . Mrs. Ben Woodruff of Butte was again brought to the local hospital for further treatment. AMELIA—Miss Florence Lind sey and mother and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Backhaus were Atkinson callers Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Backhaus visited Mrs. Ottie Smith at the hospital. She suffered a fractured hip in a fall at her home. Mrs. Lindsey and Florence called on Mrs. Rosa Snelson and Mr. and Mrs. Charles McMillen. Mrs. Snelson has also been in failing health. CHAMBERS — Mrs. William Turner took her mother, Mrs. H. W. Tomlinson, to Norfolk recent ly for medical care. . . Paul Roth was taken to St. Anthony’s hos pital Friday following a light stroke. . . Mrs. J. M. Hodgkin fell on the steps of her home on Monday and broke her arm. She was taken to St. Anthonys’ hos pital. AMELIA—Howard Berry left Tuesday, May 22, for Excelsior Serines. Mo., where he is being treated for arthritis. . . Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Edwards, Zane and Arlis, drove to Omaha Friday where Mrs. Edwards received a medical checkup. EMMET—Mr. and Mrs. Dean Perry visited Eel Etherton, who is in the Atkinson hospital, Sunday. Mrs. Dean Perry visited Mrs. Dick Fox and baby son in the Atkinson hospital Sunday. . . Mrs. Wayne Fox is a patient in St. Anthony’s hospital, O’Neill. DELOIT — Mrs. Kurpgeweit, sr., is in a hospital in Lincoln. She underwent major surgery last week. . . Mrs. Carl Thiele re turned home Sunday after a three-weeks’ stay at the Neligh hospital. She was suffering with phlebitis. EWING—Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bollwitt went to Norfolk EYiday where Mr. Bollwitt had a check up. He recently underwent sur gery and has been convalescing at his home.
