AK-SAR-BErM Mrs. Walter Vonasek Funeral at Verdiere Heart Ailment Claims Farm Woman VERDIGRE — Mrs. Walter Vonasek, 51, a resident of the Jelen community west of Verdi , gre, died about 5 p.m., Sunday, i May 20, in Lundberg Memorial hospital at Creighton. She had suffered a heart attack on Tues day, May 15. Funeral services were con ducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, from the ZCBJ hall at Verdi gre. The late Mrs. Vonasek, whose maiden name was Martha Pro kop, was born at Verdigre, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Prokop. She at tended Verdigre high school, was graduated in 1924, taught rural school several years and married Mr. Vonasek. They became the parents of two daughters. Survivors include: Widower; daughters — Mrs. Ray Zerbe of Verdigre and Mrs. Donald Mil ler of Venus; sisters—Mrs. Ben Vonasek of Star; the Misses Er ina and Silva Prokop, both of Omaha; brother—Henry Prokop 1 of Verdigre. Missionary to Peru i to Appear in O’Neill C. LeRoy Williams, missionary to Peru, South America, for years, will be the guest speaker at the Assembly of God church in O’ Neill on Sunday, May 27, at 8 p.m. Mr. Williams will relate some of his experiences and will tell of the progress of missions in Peru. It was in 1935 that Mr. Williams : first went to Peru and, with the exception of furlough periods, ha; been located there since.
