Howard Dowling and Larry Kahler of Lincoln come Friday night to the John Ross home. They returned home Saturday l ight Orlan Braun, son of Hans Braun, was a weekend visitor at the Ross home. Mrs. Duane Beck and baby daughter came home Wednesday, May 9. Her sister, Joyce Dobro volny, is helping her for awhile. Mr. and Mrs. William Maloun and Billy were Wednesday eve ning visitors. Lawrence Smith, Duane Beck, Charles Dobias, Emil Colfack, William Maloun and Billy helped Frank Kilmurry with eattle Sat urday afternoon. Mrs. Maloun helped Mrs. Kilmurry. Mr and Mrs. William Mailoun w'ere Monday afternoon. May 7, visitors at the O. A. Hammer berg home. Duane Beck and William Ma loun helped haul manure for Le Roy Hoffman last Thursday. Mrs. Ma loun, Mrs. Dobias and Dorothy Scott visited Mrs. Duane Beck and Sheryl in the afternoon. Charter Rebekahs at Inman Honored INMAN — Arbutus Rebekah lodge met Wednesday evening,! May 9, at the lOOF hall for a j regular session. Mrs. Hazel Lor enz, noble grand, presided. Fol-j lowing the regular lodge meet-; ing, Mrs. Lois Tompkins and Miss Zitella Kestenholz were in charge of a program honoring the charter and veteran mem bers who have belonged 25 years or more! There were three charter members present, name ly F. E. Keyes, Estella Keyes and Anna Smith, and three vet eran members, Ethel Tompkins, Marjorie Kelley and Carrie Mc Mahan. Each was presented a pink carnation earsage tied with green ribbon. The program consisted of singing and readings and charter members told of the instituting of Arbutus lodge in 1913. Mil dred Coventry and M a u r i n e Smith served refreshments. Honored guests were seated at a special table decorat ed with a plant and placecards. Cemetery Group Elects Officers— INMAN — The Inman Ceme tery association met Monday j night for the annual meeting at j the country home of Kenneth J Smith. Officers elected for the com ing year are: Kenneth Smith, president; Earl Watson, secre tary, and Mrs. James McMahan, treasurer. David Morsbach was elected trustee for two years. Mrs. Smith served refreshments.
