OF ARTICLES OF
INCORPORATION
Notice is hereby given that the
Articles of Incorporation of St.
Peter’s De Alcantara Church of
Ewing, at a meeting duly held on
March 26, 1956, were amended
by the amendment of Articles 2,
3,' 4 and 6 of the original Articles
and the addition thereto of Arti
cle 8 to read substantially as fol
lows:
2. The highest amount of in
debtedness which said corpora
tion shall be competent to con
; tract shall be Fifty Thousand
Dollars, beyond which amount
this corporation has no power to
contract debts binding at law or
in equity upon it, its members or
i its property.
3. The officers by whom the
affairs of the corporation shall be
conducted ire a president, treas
\ urer and secretary. The Arch
! bishop of the archdiocese to
- which said church neiongs, or in
i case of a vacancy in that office,
the Administrator of such arch
diocese, shall be exofficio pres
ident. The treasurer shall be ap
pointed by the president and the
secretary elected by the mem
| bers.
4. In order to perpetuate a line
of succession in the members of
the corporation, the Archbishop
| of the archdiocese to which the
church belongs, or his successor
in office, or in case of a vacancy,
the Administrator of such arch
, diocese, the Vicar General, or his
successor in office, and the Pas
tor. or his successor in office,
shall by virtue of such offices
members of the corporation.
By appointment made by the
President, the Vicar General and
the Pastor there shall be two
lay members of the corporation.
6. The existence of this corpor
ation commenced on May 5, 1914,
and its existence thereafter shall
be perpetual.
