Sick & Injured PAGE—Mrs. Eva Cunningham entered St. Anthonys hospital on Wednesday, April 11, for treat ment. Mrs Robert Gray is help ing with the hot lunch program in her absence . . Harry Cullen of Powell, Wyo., is reported to have suffered another heart at tack at his home. . , Emmitt Thompson submitted to an. ap pendectomy Saturday at St. An thony’s hospital. . . Mrs. George Luebbers of Osmond, daughter of Pete Nissen, has been hospitalized at Plainview. . . Mrs. Nora Hen derson is being cared for at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walt er Schneider of Plainview . . Measles have been followed by the three-day variety and chick en pox and an occasional case of mumps have been to blame for a good deal of absenteeism in the schools. . . . Bonnie Crumly is still hospitalized at St. Anthony’s for rheumatic fever. . . Mrs. Celia Terrill required medical attention at her home Monday. LYNCH — Curtis Babl, 15 month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Babl of near Dorsey, was rushed to the Sacred Heart hos pital Saturday, April 7, having druqk some kerosene. Doctors gave immediate relief and the child was able to go home the next day. . . M. P. Stenger shows some improvement at the Sa cred Heart hospital. He is suf fering with a heart ailment. . . Mrs Floyd France was a patient in the local hospital several days last week. . . Seth Simmonds of Verdel, formerly of Lynch, is confined in the Gregory. S.D., hospital in a critical condition. . . Mrs. F.rnest Sixta was rushed to Omaha by ambulance Monday, April 9. to consult specialists at a hospital there. . Mrs. J. J. Mi ca nek, jr., returned home from Rochester, Minn., where she had spent several weeks taking treat ments. EWING—Miss Genieve Vnn dersnick is a patient at St An thony’s hospital. She Is employ ed at the Ewing Co-op Cream ery . . Mrs. Fay Doty suffered a slight stroke while attending church services- at Riverside Free Methodist church. She was taken to St. Anthony’s hospital at O’Neill, where she shows im prnvemeni in nt-r nimmum. . . Mrs C. C. Hahlbeck went to Grand Island on Tuesday, April 10 where she visited her uncle, Ed Shobe, at the Veterans hos pital. Mr. Shobe is able to be up. Mrs. C. C. Hahlbeck and Mrs. Clifford Hahlbeck went to Norfolk on Wednesday, April 11, where they visited Ernest Shobe. a patient in a Norfolk hospital. Moses was sick over the weekend and early part of the week. . . Mrs. Frank Sum mers has been ill this week. AMELIA — Mrs. Delbert Ed wards, who has been ln the A kinson hospital since Tuesday, April 10, suffering with a dis placed disc in her back, taken by ambulance to Omaha on Sunday for further treatment. . . Mrs. Etta Ott is recuperating from a relapse of influenza. DELOIT—Mrs. Leo Funk re turned home from Neligh hos pital Tuesday. April 10. She had been suffering with.. ’ but is convalescing nicely. . .
