‘Happy Daze’ Pleases
Chambers Crowd
CHAMBERS—The senior class
of the Chambers high school pre
sented the three - act comedy,
“Happy Daze” to a large crowd
at the high school gymnasium
Friday evening.
The cast included Ronald
Chipps, Mary Ellen Gillette, Zan*>
Edwards, Carolyn Wintermote,
Jennie Halsey Viona Burggett,
Leonard Brown, Beverly Engel
haupt, Cleone Beed, Bernard
Grimes, Sam Taggart and Dale
Wood.

Mr. and Mrs. Will Cooper of
Riverton, Wyo., left Saturday for
home after a two-weeks’ visit
with relatives.
Rev. and Mrs. J. M. Hodgkin
went to Neligh Sunday afternoon
to the district Methodist youth
fellowship meeting. They were
accompanied by Phyllis Fuller
ton of Amelia. At the election of
officers during the meeting Miss
Fullerton was chosen district
■ treasurer.
Gordon Cooper of Los Angeles,
Calif., and his sister, Mrs. Hale
Osborne of Winner, S.D., spent
last Thursday visiting their aunt,
Mrs. C. E. Tibbets, and their
uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. L.
V. Cooper. They also visited the
Wilbur Osborne family. Gordon
has been visiting in Winner with
hi« parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry
cooper.
Mrs. A1 Dierking went to
. Wayne last Thursday to spend a
few days with her son-in-law
and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wil

Vivian Harley returned to
Seward Monday, April 2, to re
sume her studies at Concordia
college after spending five days
of Easter vacation with her par
ents, Mr and Mrs. Victor Har
ley. Mr. Harley took her tack.

Sunday from where they were ac
