the pavilion to bid on the cat
tle offered, including the 40
head of Registered Hereford
Bulls on Sale. Eleven dement
Bros. Bulls averaged $340.00
per head, but the sale top went
to Ed Hoffman & Sons on an
aged bull at $520.00.
Lightweight Stocker cattle
continued in best demand with
some prices reflecting higher
bids than a week ago. Steer
calves sold largely from $19.00
to $22.00 with only a few head
above the latter price. Heifer
mates mostly $16.00 to $17.75
cwt. Yearling steers werent
plentiful but those offered
brought bias of from $16.25 to
$17.50 cwt. Yearling heifers
largely selling in packages,
brought from $15.00 to $17.00
cwt.
Butcher cattle sold 25 to .-0
cents per hundred higher with
canners and cutters $8.00 to
$8.75; commercial cows $9.00
to $9.75; beef cows $10.00 to
$11.50; bulls from $12.00 to
$13.25 cwt.
