AMELIA—The mercury showed
seven degrees below zero Mon
day morning.
“There isn’t much stirring
around these days; hence not
much news,” according to The
Frontier’s correspondent, Miss
Florence Lindsay.
Several of the men have been
going to Darr lake neighborhood
ice fishing. Billie Sammons
caught the biggest, weighing 11
pounds. Several have reported
five-pound catches.
State employees have been
seining Swan lake. Many of the
fish are being planted to other
lakes and streams.
