Holt County Supervisors OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS O’Neill, Nebr. Aug. 30, 1955 10:00 A.M. Holt County Board of Super visors met as per adjournment. All members present. Minutes of the meeting of August 29, 1955, were read and approved as read. Motion by Barthel, seconded by Batenhorst, to adopt the fol lowing Resolution concerning Federal Aid. Motion carried. RESOLUTION WHEREAS, a system of Fed eral Aid Secondary roads have been established in Holt Coun ty, and WHEREAS, the County Board of Surpervisors of Holt County feels that additional county roads should be placed on this Federal Aid Secondary system in order to secure Fed eral Assistance in the necessary improvement thereof, and WHEREAS, the following de scribed road is not now a part of the approved Federal Aid Secondary System of Holt County and it is the desire of the Board of Supervisors of Holt County that this road be incorporated in the Federal Aid Secondary system of Holt County. From Nebr. Highway No. 95 at NE sec. corner of sec. 30, T. 26, R 12 W, in the town of Chambers, 8 miles straight south of the county line. NOW THEREFORE, in con sideration of these facts the County Eoard takes the follow ing official action: BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The State Department of Roads and Irrigation is hereby requested to prepare the neces sary documents and take all necessary steps required in order to obtain the approval of the above described road as a part of the Federal Aid Second ary system of Holt County. Reso lution adopted, signed and billed as adopted. Motion by Tomlinson, second ed by Ernst, to adopt the follow ing Resolution, concerning the Program on Federal Aid. Motion carried. RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the proposed project, hereinafter described is presently a part of the Fed eral Aid Seconday System of Holt County, and WHEREAS, Federal regula tions provide prior to the pro gramming of any Secondary Project on this approved sys tem of Federal Aid Secondary Roads to be constructed with County and Federal Funds that the concurrence and approval of the County Board of Super visors of Holt County be secur Gci cind WHEREAS, it is the desire of the County Board of Supervis ors of Holt County that the State Program with the Bureau of Public Roads a project on the above mentioned Federal Aid Secondary System in Holt County described as follows: From the south city limits of Chambers at E% corner of sec tion 30, T 26 N, R 12 W 2% miles south for grading, clay ing, culverts and surfacing, then 5 miles south to the county line for surfacing, on grade and clay surfacing done previously, and identified as Project Number -, and WHEREAS, the County has available approximately $8,500 for the construction of this pro ject in co-operation with Fed eral Funds. NOW, therefore in considera tion of these facts the County Board takes the following offi cial action: Be it resolved, and the Chair man is authorized to sign this resolution on behalf of the Board, that the County Board hereby approves the above con templated construction prior to first submitting of said project to the Bureau of Public Roads.
