The O’Neill chairman raised $835 to help fight heart disease, which caused 53 percent of O’Neill deaths. Making the award was Dr. F. G. Corporal Schleusener, a me chanic in the 984th engineer field maintenance company, has been overseas 15 months. Filsinger Rites Held at Oakdale DELOIT — Funeral services were held at Oakdale Friday, Ju ly 8, for Arnold Filsinger, who died at a Norfolk hospital Tues day, July 5, following an opera tion for ruptured appendix several days earlier. The funeral date coincided with his 31st birthday anniversary. Survivors include: Widow, the former Eleanor Fuller; daughter, 12, and son, 9. Mr. Filsinger’s home was south of the Milleville store.
