They carried a sack lunch for their noon meal and in the eve ning several of the parents drove tc Valentine with a picnic supper for the group and returned them to their homes. Wyant, Jr., Weds in California REDBIRD—On Saturday, June 11, Miss Jo Ann Bailey, daughter of Anthony Bailey of Weaverville, Calif., became the bride of Frank T. Wyant, jr., eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank T. Wyant, sr., also of Weaverville and formerly of Redbird. The single-ring ceremony took place at 3 p.m., at Reno, Nev. Nine social agencies and four individuals, including Miss Cro nin, were recipients. Miss Cronin, who is medical director of social service for the Santa Rita clinic, was honored for “sincere and unusual understand ing of human needs and oustand ing service toward improved rela tions between community agencies and organized labor.” The agencies were cited for “outstanding contributions toward improving relations between agen cies and organized labor.” The clinic was honored for “un prejudiced servicing of the human needs of the community at large” and John Quinn, chairman of the clinic board, received the plaque in behalf of the clinic. The awards were presented at a dinner affair in the Statler hotel by Albert T. Lunceford, secre tary-treasurer of the Los Angeles CIO council. Miss Cronin is a sister of Mrs. P. B. Harty, J. D. Joseph Keller, 92, Dies in Hospital— Mr. Joseph Keller, 92, of Hum phrey, died early Tuesday morn ing at an Albion hospital. He was the father of Mrs. J. L. McCar ville, sr. The McCarville families will attend the funeral today (Thursday) from St. Francis Catholic church in Humphrey. The late Mr. Keller had been a frequent visitor here.
