Mrs. John Grutsch was released Wednesday from St. Anthony’s hospital, hav ing been a patient 11 days. She will be confined to bed for some time, Mr. Grutsch said. . . Mrs. C. E. A. Johnson recently fell on the basement steps at her home and injured her forehead so stitches were taken. . . 'Hie late Joe Schollmeyer, sr., justice of the peace, performed their marriage ceremony, on Ap ril 24, 1915. A ruby-and-white color scheme was carried out for the table dec orations and the three-tier wed ding cake, baked, and decorated by Mrs. Joe Viterna, jr., of Ver digre. Mrs. Lloyd Tuch and Mrs. Junior Wilson assisted with the decorating. Following the three - course dinner for immediate relatives, a special program of readings and songs was presented by Mrs. Frank McDonald, Mrs. Ralph ’inkerman and Mrs. Anna Car son. The entertainment was re peated for the large crowd pres ent during open-house in the af ternoon. Mrs. Bill Wilson had charge of the guest book. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson are the parents of nine children. Their six sons served in the armed forces during World War II or since.
