to Martin, S.D., Monday to spend
until today (Thursday) at the Pul
man ranch there.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cavan
augh, jr., and family spent Christ
mas in Falls City with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cavanaugh,
ex., Quentin and Mrs. Gary Lech
and son. A3/c Marvin Cavanaugh
of Lincoln air force base and A1 /c
Duane Cavanaugh of Las Vegas,
Nev., also spent Christmas in Falls
City with their parents.
Miss Jackie Norman is spending

Mrs. Dale Buckmaster in Fremont.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Kaiser and
family had as dinner guests Sun
day Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kaiser, Mr.
and Mrs. Charles Peterson and
Barbara, Mr. and Mrs. Francis
Weller and family and Mr. and
Mrs. John Zahradnicek, all of At
kinson. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson and
Barbara are visiting over the holi
days from LaMcna, la., where he
attends college.
Mr. and Mrs. Dean Streeter and
Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Streeter were
Christmas dinner guests of Mr.
and Mrs. Jack Smith in Brunswick.
Mr. and Mrs. William W. Mc
Intosh and family spent Saturday
in Madison at the home of her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. George
Beatty and Sunday with his
mother, Mrs. Maude McIntosh, in
Meadow Grove.
Elizabeth Latta of Omaha
arrived Friday to spend the holi
days at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
H. J. Birmingham.
Mr. and Mrs. William S. Mattem
and family spent Christmas in
Creighton at the home of his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Mattem.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard D. Manson
spent the weekend at the home of
her brother-in-law and sister, Mr.
and Mrs. Ivan W. Briggs near
North Loup. The group spent
Christmas day with Mrs. Manson’s
and Mrs. Briggs’ mother, Mrs. Sid
ney E. Anderson near Elgin.
Mr. and Mrs. George Woods of
Glenwood Springs, Colo., returned
to their home Sunday after visiting
over the holidays with her brother
in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Lofflin. Mr. and Mrs. W. L.
DeHart of Ord were also Christmas
dinner guests of their son-in-law
and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Loff
lin.
Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Coley and
Michael of Worland, Wyo., will
spend the new year’s weekend- at
the home of her brother-in-law and
sister, Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Jaszko
wiak.
Ben Peterson and Mrs. Ester
Morgan both of Polk spent Sunday
at the home of their brother-in-law
and sister, Mr. and Mrs. C. E.
Jones. Other Sunday guests at the
Jones home were their eon and
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. C.
Vincent Jones of Columbus and
their son-in-law and daughter, Mr.
and Mrs. Don Anderson and family
of Vinton, la., who arrived Sunday
to spend until Friday visiting with
her parents.
Mr. and Mrs. J. E. McDonald of
Belleville, 111., spent from Friday
until Sunday visiting their parents,
Mrs. Richard Buxton ... to reside in Omaha after husband

Braddock-Buxton
Nuptials at Page
PAGE—Miss Audrey Braddock,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ken
neth Braddock of Omaha, and
Cpl. Richard Buxton, son of Mr.
and Mrs. William Buxton of Page,
were married Sunday afternoon,
December 26, in the Methodist
church in Page.

Miss Marilyn Boyd of Omaha
sang ‘"Because” and Donald
Braddock, brother of the bride,
sang “Always.” They were ac
companied at the piano by Miss
Ruth Parks, who also played the
prelude, wedding march and the
recessional.
Miss Charlene Fussleman light
ed the tapers. Her dress was of
blue dotted Swiss.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a waltz-length
gown of white. The skirt of pleat
ed nylon was backed by taffeta.
A full lace overskirt reached al
most to the bottom of the skirt in
front and tapered to peplum
length in the back. The fitted
1 odice was fashioned with a
sweetheart neckline and with
three-quarter-length sleeves. Her
shoulder-length veil fell from a
tiara of seed pearls. Her jewelry
included pearl ear rings, the
something old; and a single-strand
pearl necklace, a gift from the
bridegroom. She carried a white
Bible topped with an orchid and
stephanotis with net and ribbon
si reamers.
Matron-of-honor was Mrs. Den
nis La Fave of Oneida, S.D. Her
ballerina-length dress was green
net over self-colored taffeta, as
was her matching tiara. She ear
ned green tinted carnations.
The bridegroom wore a brown
suit. He was attended by his
brother, Arnot Buxton, who wore
a tan suit. Their boutonnieres
were white carnations.
Ushers were Dale Braddock,
brother of the bride, and Richard
Cunningham.
The bride’s mother chose a
charcoal suit. Her accessories
were pink and black. The bride
groom’s mother wore a charcoal
ille dress with coral and black
accessories.
Following the ceremony a re
ception was held in the church
parlors. The wedding party and
parentg were served at the bride’s
table. It was covered with a white
cloth and centered with an ar
rangement of carnations flanked
by double candelabra with white
tapers. The four-tier wedding
ccke was topped with a miniature
bride and bridegroom. Miss Jo
Ann Braddock, cousin of the
bride, cut and served the cake.
Mrs. Jerry Asher poured. Mes
dames Alton Braddock, Gerald
Lamason, John Lamason, Gene
Mudloff and Miss Alice French
helped -with the serving.
Miss Kay Harrington of Omaha,
Miss Wanda Stevens and Miss
Sherry Stewart had charge of the
gifts. Mrs. Amot Buxton had
charge of the gift book which was
signed by one hundred persons.
For going away, the bride wore
a pink flecked charcoal suit, a
small pink hat and black acces
sories. Her corsage was an or
chid from the wedding bouquet.
The bride attended the Page
school until she finished the 10th
grade. She then attended a school
ir. Omaha and was graduated
there in 1953.
The bridegroom was graduated
from the Page school with the
class of 1949. He has been in ser
vice for almost two years and
had recently returned from Korea.
After a two-weeks’ wedding
trip, Mr. and Mrs. Buxton will
return and visit relatives at Om
r.ha and Page until he will leave
February 12 for service again. He
has reenlisted for three years and
will be sent to Japan for one year.
Mrs. Buxton will continue with
her work in Omaha.
Christmas dinner guests at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Grenier were Mrs. Hattie Kindlund,
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Sawyer and
family of Ainsworth and Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Schmidt.
Robert Head of Albert Lea,
Minn., arrived Friday to spend the
week visiting his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. George Head.
