Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Wichman and family spent Sunday afternoon at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bouska, near At kinson. Mrs. Vannie B. Newman will leave today (Thursday) for Hol drege. She will visit until Satur day at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Babl, and family when the group will leave for San Diego, Calif. Mary and Michael Streeter, who had been visiting their grandparents for a week returned to Lincoln • with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nelson spent Monday in Norfolk. Mr. and Mrs. William Schiessler and Mrs. Turk Beebout, all of Ainsworth, were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Vannie B. Newman. Mrs. Gladys Oxford of Cham bers is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Lohaus this week. Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Langan, Joan and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Langan, Donna and Michael of Co lumbus attended the ice capade show held at the Ak-Sar-Ben co lisieum Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Howard D. Manson were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Beeson near Elgin. Among those attending the county officers’ convention in Omaha Wednesday, December 8, through Friday were Mrs. D. A. Ba ker, Clarence Ernest, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Waring, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cronk of Page and Mr. and Mrs. Howard D. Manson. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Barnard of Wagner S. D., Were Sunday after noon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Rich ard Nelson. There will be a Gideon meet ing at the Fred Lindberg home Friday evening at 8 o’clock. 33c Dinner guests Sunday at the Clyde McKenzie, jr., home were Mr. and Mrs. Gene Streeter and family of Lincoln and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Streeter. Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Harder, John and Sylvia and Judy Liddy attended the Hasting college pre sentation of Handel’s Messiah at Hastings college Sunday. Their daughter, Miss Lois, was the soprano soloist in the presentation. Mr. and Mrs. John Schwartz of Atkinson were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Houser. Edward Schmit and Mickey re turned with a deer from Nenzel where they had been deer hunt ing and visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Schmit. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Weaver, Verl Ral ya and Mary Belzer attended a Central Finance corporation meet ing in Norfolk Saturday afternoon and the annual Christmas party held at the Madison hotel in the evening. Frank Grenier and Carroll left Friday for Ainsworth to deer hunt for the remainder of the hunting season. They were guests at the Harvey Sawyer home. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Tomlinson and family of West Point visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Tomlinson and Mrs. Catherine Pri bil and other relatives over the weekend. Mrs. Iva Hopkins was a Sunday dinner guest of her son and daugh ter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Hop kins. Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Lohaus spent last Wednesday and Thursday in Omaha, where they were called by the sudden death Tuesday of Mr. Lohaus’s uncle, Leon Braun. Fun eral services for Mr. Braun were conducted Thursday. They were accompanied to Omaha by Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Birmingham and Evelyn Stannard, who has been visiting in Omaha, returned to O’Neill with them Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. George C. Robert son and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Jones spent Sunday afternoon at the Gavins Point dam near Yankton, S. D. Billy Artus Is 6-Years-Old— Billy Artus, son of Mr. and Mrs. William C.
