Ries of Atkinson announce the en gagement and approaching mar riage of their daughter, Miss Marilyn Delores (above), to Sgt. Wayne C. Kruntorad, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krun torad of Ewing. Miss Ries is a graduate of St. Joseph’s hall with the class of 1952 and is employed at Consumers Public Power district in O’Neill. Mr. Kruntorad is serving with the army and is stationed at Ft. Riley, Kans. The couple is plan ning a late November wedding. ONEILL LOCALS Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cavan augh, sr., returned to Falls City Saturday after visiting relatives for several days. A 3/c Marvin Cavanaugh, who has been visiting here with his parents returned to Lincoln Saturday. ' Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Jones spent Tuesday in Grand Island. Mr. and Mrs. Emmet Crab drove to Wayne Wednesday for Miss Don na, who is a student at Wayne State Teachers college. She will visit her parents until Sunday. Richard Moses and sons of Lin coln were weekend visitors at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Moses. Mrs. Gary Lech and son of At kinson moved to Falls City over the weekend. They will live with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cavanaugh, sr., while Mr. Lech is in the armed services. Gertrude Sullivan, John L. McGill, Jr., Exchange Vows Miss Gertrude Ann Sullivan, daughter of Mrs. Patrick Sullivan and the late Mr. Sullivan, and John L. McGill, jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. McGill of Oma ha, were united in marriage at St. Patrick’s Catholic church here Saturday, October 23. Very Rev. Timothy O’Sullivan officiated at the 10 o’clock ceremony. Given in marriage by her un cle, Henry J. Barrett of Council Bluffs, la., the bride wore a satin brocade gown featuring a portrait neckline, bouffant, intricately pleated skirt falling from an Eliz abethan waistline and a full train. A sequin-studded half-hat held her illusion veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and a crystal rosary. Miss Peggy Sullivan of Omaha, maid-of-honor for her sister, wore a ballerina-length gown of tur- . quoise brocade. A turquoise bead ed tiara and a bouquet of bronze chrysanthemums completed her ensemble. The bridesmaid, Miss Jean Bar rett of Council Bluffs, was dress ed identically like the maid-of honor. Thomas McGill was bestman for his brother. The ushers were ! Miss Beverly Mc Carthy and Miss Gertrude Stef fins of Omaha were in charge of the guest book. For traveling, the bride wore a dark green velvet dress with black accessories. Following a wedding trip to Kansas City, Mo., the cou ple will be at home at 4328 Er skine street, Omaha. The bride was graduated from St. Mary’s academy. Until hei marriage, she was employed by the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co., in Omaha and formerly was with the telephone company hert. At Omaha she was employed in the telephone company’s sales de partment. Mr. McGill was graduated from Sacred Heart high school, Omaha. The bridegroom served in the armed services and attended a two-year course at Creighton uni versity. He is employed as a salesman tor Fairmont Frozen r oods Co., in Omana. Fifty guests from out-of-town attended the wedding and recep tion. Miss Beverly McCarthy and Miss Gertrude Steffins, both of Omaha, arrived in O’Neill Friday to attend the wedding Saturday of Miss Ger trude Sullivan and John McGill. Miss Steffins was a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George M. McCarthy until Saturday. Miss Mc Carthy will visit her parents until Monday. Fritz Clark drove to Grand Is land over the weekend and his wife, who had been visiting her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George Peterson, returned to O’Neill with him. College at Dinner— Miss Donna Crabb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emmet Crabb, has been chosen by the administration as one of five seniors to represent Wayne at a dinner and conference of future teachers, sponsored by Gov. Robert Crosby. The confer ence is to be held at Kearney on November 16. I Inman News Mr. and Mrs. Sam Baker and family have returned to their home in Sioux Citv after spending a week visiting Mrs. Baker’s parent’s, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd De Long. Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Hartigan of Norfolk spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Watson. Larry Sawyer, who teaches near Stuart, spent the weekend visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Sawyer. Mr. and Mrs. Cap Pribil and Mrs. Melvin Michaelis left Wednes day, October 20, for Omaha on Thursday morning attended fun eral services for Francis O’Don nell. Mr. O'Donnell was a nephew of Mr. Pribil and a cousin of Mrs. c Michaelis. They returned to Inman last Thursday evening. Dr. and Mrs. Guy L. Brillhart of Hastings spent the weekend here visiting in the home of their nephew and neice, Mr. and Mrs. James McMahan. Additional guests in the McMahan home on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Ken Coventry, Mr. and Mrs. James Coventry and Mr. and Mrs. John H. Mattson. M/Sgt. Cecil Keyes left Thurs day for Albuquerque, N. M.. after spending the past three weeks visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Keyes and other relatives. Mrs. Albert Reynolds enter tained a few of her friends at her home on Thursday. Mrs. L. C. Tompkins of Kelso, Wash., arrived last Thursday for a visit with her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. L. R.
