Of special interest were the recent floods which took place in Pakistan and her daughter’s work during that time. 8 The thank offering amounted to approximately $133. Wednesday, November 3: Con firmation class, 7:30 p.m.; adult instruction class, 8:30 p.m. WSCS Prepares for Bazaar— EWING—The members of the Women’s Society for Christian Ser vice recently gathered at the home of Mrs. Andrew Olson in north Ewing for a social meeting. Mrs. Elizabeth Angus was a guest. Bazaar articles were worked on including the painting of tea towels. The election day dinner was also discussed and plans were com pleted. Olen KenneJl and family of Orleans expect to arrive in O’Neill Tuesday, No vember 2, to begin their ministry here. Hammerbergs Move to Atkinson After 35 Years on Farm CELIA — Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Hammerberg moved to their new home tin Atkinson Monday and Tuesday, October 18 and 19. The Hammerbergs have spent the 40 years of their married life in the Celia neighborhood, 35 years of which were spent on their farm from which they just moved. Their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Maloun, who will stay on the farm, truck ed the Hammerbergs’ household things to Atkinson. Larvrence Smith helped them load on Mon day. Jo seph’s Catholic church in Atkinson. Rev. Richard J. Parr officiated at the ceremony. The maid-of-honor was Miss Charlene Kaup of Omaha and the bestman Charles Miller of Atkinson. There has been a series of dances. The first was sponsored by the Johnson brothers, Lysle, Howard and Marvin, Soren Sor ensen, jr., and Wilbert Widholm. The second was sponsored by Ewalt Miller, Lysle Johnson, Leon ard and Elmer Juracek and Wil liam Derickson, in honor of Ar nold Miller, who left for the ser vice last Thursday. The third, held Saturday night, October 23, was arranged by Albert 'Derick son, William Hansen, Robert Sholes, Elroy Lieb and Merle Spangler. Over 350 plates were served at the dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ruggles accompanied her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Beckwith of Emmet, and Mrs. Darrel Graham of O’Neill to Neligh on Sunday where they were dinner guests of Mrs. Ruggles’ grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.
