Church Women Hold Seminar, Atkinson CELIA—Mrs. O. A. Hammer berg attended the northeast dis trict seminar at Atkinson Tues day, October 5. Over 130 persons attended the meeting at the Meth odist church. Mrs. A. R. Marquart, confer ence president, Mrs. Charles Mead, conference member, and Mrs. V. E. McNabb, conference treasurer, presented outstanding talks. Presbyterian ladies served lunch to the group. Miss Minerva Sanderson Shower Honoree— CHAMBERS — A pre-nuptial shower honoring Miss Minerva Sanderson was held on Saturday, October 9, in the parlors of the Memorial Baptist church. A pro gram portraying Miss Sanderson’s life was presented in readings, songs and skits. Making Plans for Achievement Day — Boyd Clubbers Go to LYNCH—The Excello Extension club met at the home of Miss Pauline Mulhair Monday evening, October 11, Mrs. Leland Moody co hostess. The business meeting was presided by Mrs. Don Allen. Mrs. Allen led in the singing of the club song with Mrs. Mildred Darnell at the piano. Pauline Mulhair and Rose Kal kowski gave the lesson on soap and other detergents.
