August 27, of the 7 o’clock ceremony uniting in marriage! Miss Dentha Elaine Smith, aaugnter of Kenneth F Smith and the late Mrs. Smith, and Kenneth LeRoy Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Moore. Rev. L. E Mewmaw, church pastor, officiated at the double-ring cere mony before the altar decorated with lavender and white gladioli.: the bnde's chosen colors The bnde given in marriage ’ by her father, appeared in a tioor-length gown of white puck ered nylon and a matching cap r.eki her fingertip veil of nylon r et. She carried a bridal bouquet j cf pale pink carnations and a white Bible Her only jewelry was a double-strand "of pearls and matching earrings. She also wore the traditional something ci4 something new. M-ss Yvonne Smith, sister of the bride. was bridesmaid. She w. core a pale lavender floor-length ycwn of eyelet embroidered or gandy and a white head-dress. She earned a colonial bouquet of yellow baby mums, and white nasta daisies. The bridegroom and his best man, Gordon Shales, and the uiher. Max Mossman. wore bus- r iness suits with white carnation boutonnieres. Mrs Mar ye Hartigan furnish ed the nuptiai music. The rridegrooms mother wore a fw g-piece fall dress m delft biue with black accessories. She also wore a white carnation cor sage. A reception for over one hun dred guests was held at the Maxcv Memorial addn.cn. Mrs. Ker.aetb CcvenHy and Mrs. James M McMad^e. Others were baked by Mrs. Howard Jackson and Miss Faye Brunckhorst. The Misses Barbara Brunck rorst, Arlene Ruroede and Mary Frances Yitt, the later two from O’Neill, poured. Mrs. Howard Jackson, Mrs Clarence Hansei and Miss Faye Brunckhorst served. Miss Helen Engier of O’- \ Neill had charge of the guest book and girtbook. Following the reception the ccupie opened the gifts. They left for the Black Hills on a short wedding trip. The bride and bridegroom j both were graduated from the Inman high school with the class of 1950. Mrs Moore attended the Norfolk College of Business and is now employed in the office of Gas Co. at O’NeilL Mr Moore is the Kansas - Nebraska Natural an employee of the Northwestern Hell Telephone company. After September 15 they willi be at heme in the Klmgler apart- I ments ;n O’NeilL Brownies Tour Telephone Office— Brownie troop II met Monday j a* the public Library, under the direction of Mrs. Herley. After the regular business meeting limes were played and refresh ments served. A tour of the telephone office was made. Meets New Granddaughter— CHAMBERS—Mrs. Richards of Chadron came Sunday to spend a few days with her daughter Mrs. Duane Miller, and to care for her new granddaughter. Overnight Guests— Mr and Mrs. Vernon Kruse of Wheatland. Wyo„ were Wednes day overnight guests of his ne phew. H. G. Kruse, and Mrs Kruse. 500-700 Head of Cattle Expected • These will be between 500-700 head of cattle at our reg ular weekly sale today (Thursday'’, including several straight loads of yearling heifers and steers weighing from 500 to 700 pounds. Also about 250 yearling heifers and sieers. Balance of today's offering will be light yearlings, two-year-olds and butcher cattle. • The hog will start at 11 c dock. About 150 head of feeder pigs will be included.
