Bishop Miss Helen Ruth Kubitschek, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. F. J. Kubitschek, and Harold Robert Bishop, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bishop of New York, N.Y., were united in marriage at an 11 o’clock ceremony at St. Patrick’s Catholic church on Saturday, June 26. The Very Rev. Timothy O’Sullivan officiated at the sin gle-ring rite. Given in marriage by her fa ther, the bride chose a gown of bridal satin with a fitted chan tilly lace bodice and a bouffant skirt with lace inserts that fell into a cathedral train. Her prin cess style veil fell from a tudor pearl-trimmed half-hat. She car ried a bouquet of calla lilies and lilies of the valley. Mrs. Richard M. Bogan of Kansas City, Mo., was matron cf-honor for her sister. The oth er attendants were Mrs. Paul R. Kubitschek of Tremont, 111., Mrs. Richard L. Owens of Kansas City. Mo., and Miss Arlene An son of Detroit, Mich. The attend ants were gowned in princess styled dresses of sheer snantung over taffeta in shrimp pink, or chid, daffodil yellow and dior blue. They carried colonial bou quets of painted daisies tied with ribbons to match their dresses. Miss Patti Kubitschek of Den ver, Colo., niece of the bride, was the flower girl. She wore a dress of spring green and car ried a colonial bouquet of dai sies. Frank Eugene Bishop, jr., of New York, N.Y., was bestman for his brother and the ushers were Richard M. Bogan of Kan sas City, Mo.. Dr. Paul R. Kubit schek of Tremnot, 111., and John Collins, jr., of New York City. Miss Marde Birmingham sang “Ave Maria” and Miss Nancy Beha sang “Panis Angelicas.” The two sang “On This Day” as a duet. Mrs. Gene Wolfe was the organist. The altar of the church was decorated with baskets of pink and white gladiola and the pews tied with satin bows and daisies. Following the wedding cere mony a breakfast for 150 guests was given at the Town House. Assisting at the breakfast were Mesdames H. J. Birmingham, F. N. Cronin, Edward M. Gallagher, W. H. Harty, H. J. Lohaus, C. J. Gatz and P. B. Harty. Miss Fran ces Rotherham of Ewing was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Bishop is a graduate of St. Mary’s academy and Barat, college, Lake Forest, 111. Mr. Bishop graduated from Jamaica high school, Jamaica, N.Y., and the University of Detroit. He is employed with the Luminous company as a chemical engineer in New York City. For traveling the bride wore a sheath styled dress of grey lin en and broadcloth with white accessories. The couple will re side in New York. Out-of-town guests present at the wedding and reception were: Dr. and Mrs. William R. Kubit schek of Denver, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. John Collins, jr., of New York, N.Y., Carlos Baranano of Havana, Cuba. Mrs. May Renaud of Bridgeport, Conn., Mr. and Mrs. John Colins, jr., of New, York, N.Y., Lester Hyde of De troit, Mich., Miss Rhoda Roberts of Huntington Woods, Mich., Miss Mary Ertel of Detroit, Mich., Miss Helen Van Sant of Omaha, Lt. and Mrs. Robert Ber igan of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. James Ordeski of Detroit, Mich., and Miss Esther Kinnier of Spalding. Jones, Saturday. They stopped in O’Neill over night on the first leg of an ex tended vacation trip through Yellowstone park and the Pa cific coast states. Mrs. Elsie Barnes left for her home in Portland, Ore., Sunday after spending three weeks visit ing her brother-in-law and sis ter, Mr. and Mrs. William Lu ben, and other relatives and friends in O’Neill. Mrs. Clifford Harding and Skip McKenney spent Tuesday, June 22, in Ord visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dale Norman and Mrs. John Pelanowski. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoyer of New Plymouth, Ida., visited Fri day at the home of her sister, Mrs. Carrie Borg. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert H. Kai ser and family spent Sunday at JOHN R.
