INMAN— Mr. and Mrs. L. R.
Tompkins went to Omaha Tues
day, June 22, where they had
medical checkups. They return
ed home last Thursday. . . Mr.
ajd Mrs. Elmer Smith and Mr.
and Mrs. Elmer Michaelis left
Tuesday for Omaha where Mrs.
Michaelis will have a medical
checkup.
AMELIA—Fred Watson, was
in a Hastings hospital last week,
following an operation on his
eyes. His son, Asa, who was with
him for the operation returned
home Saturday. Mr. Watson was
improving “satisfactorly” but
| stayed to be near the doctor for
further care.
DELOIT — Danny Bauer, the
younger son of Mr. and Mrs.
John Bauer, has been ill with
mumps. The Carl Wulf children
have also been having mumps.
RIVERSIDE-Mrs. Alfred Nap
ier underwent ma.ior surgery
Thursday at the Lutheran hosp
ital in Norfolk. Her condition is
satisfactory.
