Wagener of Lincoln (above), Lancaster county attorney and candidate for the republican nomination for governor, Friday visited O’ Neill. Wagener, a World War I veteran, frequently has been a delegate to county and state GOP conventions and in 1948 was a delegate to the national convention. He was secretary of the Nebraska republican central committee in 1936. E-r-- — Camp Meetings Still in Progress— The camp meeting services, which began last Thursday, will continue this week in the Wes leyan Methodist church. Bible study 10:30 a.m.; children’s meeting at 1 p.m.; adult prayer meeting at 1 p.m.; preaching at 2 p.m.; evangelistic rally at 8 p.m. Sunday services will be in the school auditorium. Morning ser vice at 10 o’clock; preaching at 11 o’clock.
