■weeks Juny was quite seriously
ill for several days.
Franky Focken, son of Marian
Pocken, attended Bible school
for the first three days of last
week and then became quite ill
He was obliged to miss the last
two days.

Expires at Elgin
AMELIA—Mr. and Mrs. S .C.
Barnett received word Saturday
of the death of Mr. Barnett’s sis
ter, Mrs. Eva Sparrow, 92, wno
was in a nursing home at Elgin.
Mr. and Mrs. Barnett cared for
Mrs. Sparrow several months last
winter until Mrs. Barnett’s own
poor health made further care
impossible.

June 4 to attend the wedding of
Mary Ann Bailey, a former class
mate of Mrs. Frahm’s. They were
schoolmates at Bassett high
school.

days last week visiting his moth
er, Mrs. George Withers. They
returned home Sunday.
