They had intended -to stay longer, but due to the inclement weather re turned home on Friday. She attend ed a six weeks’ training course at Cheyenne, Wyo., and grad uated on April 7, with exer cises held at the Cosmopolitan hotel in Denver, Colo. Her headquarters are in New York City and she flies between there and Chicago, 111., and twice a week she comes as far as Omaha. She flies in the big DC-6B plane. Miss Bosn is a graduate of St. Mary’s acad emy and the St. Elizabeth’s school of nursing of Lincoln. Since her graduation, she has been working in different hos pitals in the state, recently at Scotsbluff. Sick & Injured O’NEILL— Joseph Bellar re turned from the Veterans hospi tal at Grand Island Wednesday, April 26. He had been a patient there for two weeks. . . Dr. and Mrs. L. A. Burgess went to Ro chester, Minn., Sunday to visit their daughter, Miss Joann, who has spent several months in a hospital there. The parents re turned Tuesday evening. DELOIT — Carl Thiele was a patient at the Neligh hospital last week. His condition on Fri day was good. . . EWING — Mrs. Maude Boies came home Friday from the Lu theran hospital in Sioux City where she had been a patient for the past 10 days. Mrs. Boies, who is in her seventies, was a victim of mumps while here. Her condition is “much improv ed.” Her daughter, Mrs. Clar ence Hahlbeck, and her daugh ter-in-law, Mrs. Gail Boies, went after her. AMELIA — Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pierce received word from their granddaughter, Rae Dee Wickham of Valentine, stat ing she was a victim of mumps. . . . Mrs. Harold Fullerton and nephew, Don Fullerton, were weekend callers in Omaha. Mrs. Fullerton visited her husband at the Methodist hospital in Oma ha. He “had not been so well,” due to a blood clot in his leg. EMMET—Mrs. James O'Con nor is at St. Catherine’s hospital, Omaha. She underwent major surgery at 8 o’clock Monday morning.
