On Tuesday evening, April 3, the Norfolk Junior college on its annual spring musical tour pre sented a program at the school auditorium. Merton V. Welch, instrumental music director, opened the entertainment with “Song of the Blackhawks” follow ed by a band concert. The second half ctf the program under the direction of Russell C. Cum mings, who is in charge of the vocal department, included songs by NJC mixed ensemble, Gentle men of Note, the college quartet, duets and the Ballad singer Wal lace Bazyn, who blayed his guit ar accompaniment. College students home for the Easter vacation include Joellyn Eacker, Patricia Rotherham, Merton Dierks, Fred Van Vleck, from the University of Nebraska, Others who expect to arrive later in the week are Geraldine Bauer, Lois Ann Bergstorm and Joan Binkerd, from Norfolk Junior college; Miss Marcia Gibson from Omaha, Henry Baum, jr., and his sister, Miss Christine Baum, from Lincoln. Mrs. Elvin Hamilton and dau ghters were guests on Sunday at at home of her sister and hus band, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Montgomery at Venus, while Mr. Hamilton and his father went I fishing.
