Next Meeting February 10— CHAMBERS—The Kellar La dies’ club met Wednesday, Jar uary 27, at the home of Mrs. Louis Taggart with 16 members and three children present. The meeting was opened by singing “God of Our Fathers,” followed by roll call and another hymn. After a short business session, the meeting was adjourned to en joy the social hour. Mrs. Donald Hoffman drew the door prize. Next meeting will be with Mrs. Louis Harley Wednesday, Febru ary 10. A lunch was served by the hostess, Mrs. Taggart, and the cohostess, Mrs. Ernest Far rier. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Fry and Jackie spent Sunday with Mrs. Kittie Fry. Mrs. Mary Shrader accompan ied the Lewis Shrader family to Emerson Sunday to visit the Joe Luzio family. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Fink were dinner guests Sunday at the Jim Pollock home. The devotional period was con ducted by Wilbur Bennett. Dur ing the business session. A gen eral discussion was held pertain ing to future work of the group. Booklets and pamphlets were or dered for more information on the various topics. On adjourn ment, Carl Christon and Wilbur Bennett served apple and cherry pie a-la-mode and coffee. Rev. and Mrs. W. J. Bomer and family were guests on Wednes day evening, January 27, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Shra der and family. Mrs. Earl Billings entertained the Thursday bridge club on the evening of January 28 at her home. Guests were Mrs. William Spence and Mrs. Everett Ruby. Mrs. Lyle Dierks won high score and Mrs. P. V. Saiser, second high. The hostess gift came from Mrs. Maud Brion, who is vaca tioning with relatives at Chico, Calif. Refreshments were served by the hostess.
