Miss Ver i Er irt of O'Neill sane “Love Never Faileth” and “Through the Years.” She was accompanied by Miss Irene Searles of Omaha. For her wedding the bride chose a ballerina-length gown of white Chantilly lace over nylon net and taffeta. The fitted bodice was styled with a high neckline. A Juliet cap of ruffled nylon held the bride's shoulder-length nylon net veil. She carried an arrangement of red roses and fern tied with white satin. Miss Mary Lou Cooper of Neil, sister of the bade, u*as bridesmaid. She wore a pink lace and taffeta ballerina-length gown topped with a matching stole. Her headdress of pink nylon net was fashioned like that of the bride. Miss Cooper carried white chrysanthemums. James Sechineder of Atkinson served as bestman. The bride was graduated from Orchard high school and attend ed Wayne State Teachers college. She is now a rural teacher. The budegroom attended schol in At kinson and has spent the past year in the army. He is stationed at Camp Hale, Colo. ASSEMBLY OF GOD (O'Neill) Rev. Wayne A. Clinkscales of O’Neill, recently of Co lumbus, announce the engagements and approaching marriages •of their daughters, the Misses Lauretta Marie (left) and Edyth Katherine. Miss Lauretta will wed John T. Gill of Omaha, son of the late Dr. C. L. Gill and Mrs. Gill of Bellevue. She graduated from Howells high school and attended Duchesne college, Oma ha, and the University of Nebraska. Mr. Gill, who graduated from Notre Dame university, South Bend, Ind., in 1950, presently is employed in the advertising department of an Omaha firm. Miss Edyth graduated from Howtlls high school, attended Duchesne college, Omaha, and Creighton university, Omaha. Her fiance, O/Lt Charles J. Fiala of Howells, is a 1953 U.S. Military academy graduate. Also a Howells high graduate, he has been stationed at Ft. Benning, Ga., for several months and this week will be leav ing for overseas duty. Word was received from Merlyn Held, who enlisted in the navy, stating he was on his way to San Diego, Calif., to take his boot training Henry Fuelberth of Stuart spent two days last week at Page where he visited at the homes of his sisters, Mrs. Anton Nissen and Mrs. Neil Asher, and at the P. E. Nissen home. Capt. and Mrs. J. L. Lamason and two children came from East St. Louis, 111., last Thursday and are visiting at the home of Cap tain Lamason’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Lamason. He had been stationed at the Granite City engineer depot since return ing from England. He has been assigned to overseas duty in the Far East and will sail February 15. Mr. and Mrs. William Buxton and Mr. and Mrs. Orville Kempt-r were Sunday evening supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Larson. The WSCS' met last Thursday afternoon at the Methodist church parlors. Mrs. Herbert Steinberg led the devotions and gave the lesson. Mrs. Elmer Trowbridge had charge o- the business meeting. Hostesses were Mrs. Hal Farnswmrth and Mrs. Ralph Brostrom. Knittel-Warnke Nuptials at Butte On Wednesday, January 6, Miss Clara Knittel of Butte became the bride of Paul Warnke of An oka, in a nuptial rite at Sts. Pet er and Paul Catholic church in Butte. The bride appeared in a baller ina-length bridal white gown made with an overskirt of nylon net. The snug lace bodice fea tured a high neckline and self covered buttons and sleeves that ended in points over her wrists A small cop, trimmed with seed peans, held her fingertip veil one wore a corsage of white roses and carried a prayer book. Mrs. Lyle Lamero of O’Neill, sister of tne bridegroom, served as bridesmaid, wealing an aqua ballerina-length gown designed with a tucaed bodice and deep neckline. She wore a pink rose coisage. Lyle Damero, brother-in- 1 law of the bridegroom, served^ as bestman. Rev. Edward Gill officiated m the double-ring ceremony. MARRIAGE LICENSES January 11—Donald W. Katheryn Seger Becomes Bride STUART — A quiet wedding was solemnized Wednesday af ternon, January 6, at 3 o’clock in St. Boniface Catholic church when Miss Kathryn May Seger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wil fred Seger of Stuart, became the bride of A/lc Robert Rolland Fox, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fox of O’Neill. The processional was played by Sister Vera and the double ring ceremony rvas performed by Rev. A. J. Paschang. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a blue shad ow check suit with red accessor ies and carried a colonial bouquet of red and white carnations. Her attendant, Mrs. William Kelly, sister of the bridegroom, wore a grey shadow check suit with navy accessories and carried a colonial bouquet of yellow and oronze carnations. The bridegroom and his at tendant, Charles R. Fox, a broth er, wore business suits with white carnation boutonnieres. Ushers were Lowell Seger and Gordon Fox, brothers of the bride and bridegroom. Mrs. Seger wore a maroon suit with black accessories for her daughter's wedding and Mrs. Fox chose a grey dress with black accessories. They both wore wiiite carnation corsages. Immediately following the cer emony a reception was held at the Stuart auditorium for 75 guests. The bride’s table was centered with a three-tier wed ding cake topped with a minia ture bride and bridegroom and flanked with lighted candles. Miss Theo Weichman was in charge of the guest book and Miss Delores Hamik was in charge of the gifts. Mrs. Oliver Gilg of Newport and Mrs. Leon ard Bazelman of O’Neill poured. Mrs. Fox is a graduate of Stu art high school with the class of 1952 and since her graduation has been employed by the Bell Telephone company of O’Neill, j Mr. Fox is a graduate of O’Neill public school and studied one [ year in Norfolk junior college Lefore he was called into the service. The couple left Thursday, Jan uary 7, for Hallomen air force base in New Mexico where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Gailord Albright were dinner guests Sunday at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Hoffman, and family. Mrs. Jerome Allen, Mrs. Bert Finley and Mrs. Lloyd Fussleman tok Mrs. Jerry Asher to Norfolk last Thursday. She went to Om aha where she was an overnight guest at the Kenneth Braddock home. On Friday she left to join her husband. Private Asher, who is stationed at Ft. Belvoir, Va. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stewart and son, Dick, drove to Omahn Sun-' day to bring Leo Neubauer, FN, and his wife to Page. They were returning from Long Beach Calif. He had recently returned to the U.S. after six months’ du ty overseas. After visitine rela tives here they will return to California where he will be sta tioned. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Heiss and Mrs. Richard Heiss drove to i Grand Island Saturday to meet Richard Heiss, who had recently returned from Okinawa. Mr. Heiss, who was a corporal in the • army, has received his discharge. Mr. and Mrs. Heiss and son will again make their home cn their farm 1V4 miles north of Page. .......................
