Weber of Atlanta Ga„ were married Saturday August 15, in First Methodisl church chapel in Pasadena, Calif Dr. Claude E. Smith, associate pastor, officiated at the 5 p.m.. ceremony which was followed by a reception in the church cloister One hundred fifty guests at tended. Given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Max E. Wilkins of Palo Alto, Calif., the bride was attended by Mrs. Dalen Homing as matron-of-honor. Her brides maids were Misses Marilyn Hall of Monrovia, Calif., and Ena Lou McLaren. Dalen Homing was bestman. David Homing and Warren Bruce of Glendale, Calif., ushered. The bride chose a Cahill gown of white tulle over taffeta, made waltz-length and scattered with lace motifs applied on the bodice and down the front of the skirt. A close-fitting madcap headdress of matching lace held the double veil of bridal illusion which fell « * Moccasin toe oxfords, the young man’s favorite, ail dressed up ready to go places. She carired a cas cade of bouvardia and carnations centered with a white orchid. Iridescent gowns were worn by the attendants, Mrs. Homing in peacock, the bridesmaids in flame. A stole attached to the strapless bodice detailed the bal let-length dresses, and each girl wore a matching half-hat. Their flowers were gladiolus in har monizing tones. Mr. Wilkins was accompanied here by Mrs. Wilkins and their daughter, Nancy, who were among the out-of-town guests. Mrs. Weber graduated from O’Neill high school in 1947. She was employed at the Ben Frank lin stone until 1950, when she moved to Pasadena, where she attended Pacific college. Later she was employed at an aircraft factory. Mr. Weber is a University of Illinois graduate in architectural design. The couple is at Lake Tahoe on their honeymoon and will be at home at 483 E. Del Mar after September 1. I O’Neill News Minta Mae Drake of Oklahoma City, Okla., is spening two weeks here visiting in the Charles Hou ser home. She is a sister to Mrs. Houser. Mrs. Willis Beed and baby re turned Sunday, August 16, from ; Camp Pendleton, Calif., where they were staying with Mr. Beed until he was sent overseas. Mrs. Beed plans to make her home here until his return. Miss Loretta Enright spent last week in Omaha. Mrs. Margaret Reinhardt re turned to Omaha Sunday after spending the weekend here visit ing relatives. Miss Mary and Teresa Rotherham of Inman re turned to Omaha with her after spending the weekend in Inman visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Rotherham. Charles Houser took his mo ther, Mrs. Venna Houser, back to her home at Des Moines, la., Sun day after she had spent two weeks here visiting in the Houser home. Mr. Houser remained there this week to participate with the A r g o n e Legion Post band at the Iowa State fair. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zastrow went to Omaha over the weekend to attend the races and visit Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Sullivan. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rotherham returned to their home at Spring field. 111., Sunday after spending several days here and at Amelia visiting relatives. Miss Shirley Brittell was a Sat urday overnight guest in the Loyd God el home. Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Hovey of Stuart spent Sunday here visit ing relatives. Mr. and Mrs. George Patent and daughter of Creighton were Saturday evening dinner guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hines. John J. Harrington arrived Fri day from Chicago, 111. Mrs. Har rington returned to Chicago with him on Monday where she will spend the week with him. Mrs. Rose Jennings went to Valentine Tuesday to spend a few days visiting her niece, Mrs. Ro«e Davy. O'NEILL LOCALS Mr. and Mrs. Ltoyd Gibson attented the wedding of their nephew, Frank Edwards, at St. Paul Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Godel and family have moved from a Dowm ?y building on North Fourth street to 610 E. Benton street. Mr. and Mrs. F. S. Brittell went to Inman Sunday evening to visit in the Earl Miller and Dave Morsbach homes. Their daughter, Beverly, who had been visiting there, returned with them.
