Tractor Driving
Contest Planned
The tractor driving contest will
be sponsored by the local tractor
dealers of Chambers and the
John Deere agency from O’Neill.
Those tractors represented will
be:
Allis - Chalmers, International,
Case, Ford and John Deere.
Rules adopted by the state
4-H tractor driving competition
committee will apply.
Operators are to be judged nn
ability, safety and handling of
tractors and themselves.
First prize $8.
Second prize $6.
Third prize $4.
Fourth prize $2.

Bands to Play
The Chambers and Stuart high
school bands have been engaged
to provide music for the two
entertainment days at the fair.
The Chambers band will pre
sent a concert immediately prior
to the baseball game on Thurs
day, and the Stuart band will
provide a concert at approximate
ly the same time Friday.
The bands also will be heard
in the evenings. There will be
baseball games both afternoons.
