AMPLE GAS
FOR EVERY NEED
Gas to serve O’Neill is brought from the Hugoton field
in southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma, the largest
gas field in the world. Gas is also drawn from fields in
western Nebraska and eastern Colorado.
At present Kansas-Nebraska gathers gas from 230 wells
in these three fields. An additional 40 wells are also
available and awaiting connection to the company’s gath
ering facilities. ^
It is estimated that Kansas-Nebraska has a reserve sup
ply of gas equal to 30 times the annual consumption of
its present customers in 1 70 towns it already serves.
