nic dinner in the Ainsworth park.
Mr. and Mrs. Duane Sukup of
Salina, Kans., came Friday to
gpend a 15-day furlough with
their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed
ward Sukup of Page and Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Russell of Inman.
Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Smith and
daughter, Linda, of Page spent
Sunday visiting Mrs. Anna Smith
and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Smith
and family.
Mrs. Eva Murten has gone to
Lincoln after spending the week
end visiting Mrs. Anna Smith.

and sons moved their household
goods to O’Neill Sunday where

the devotions. Lunch was served

Mrs. Doris David and Miss Elsie
Krueger.
The Harmony club met Tues
day afternoon, July 28, with
Grayce McGraw. The afternoon
was spent socially and lunch
was served by the hostess.

spent Friday in Omaha, return

club is sponsoring its third ann
ual gladiolus and flower show
“Glad Days in the Sandhills” on
August 15 and 16 at the Atkinson
high school auditorium in Atk
kinson. The hours are 2 p.m. on
Sunday. ,

show chairman. There Is no ad
mision charge and everyone is
welcome.

Mrs. Alma Eby of Ainsworth
visited in the homq of Mr. and
Mrs. Ray Eby Sunday evening.
Sgt. Waller Meier of Prescott, Wise., a mili
tary policeman, and A/lc Neil Ross of Charles
ton, W. Va., a fireman, stand by the charred 'cop
ter wreckage. Both are from Offutf air base, near
Omaha, on special duty at the wind test site here.

Ronnie Bazelman, who have been
working at Sioux Falls, S. D.,
spent the weekend with their
families. Mr. Thompson returned
to Sioux Falls on Monday.

Page and got their daughters,
Misses Janet and Sharyl; who
had been visiting there for sever
al weeks. They returned to Den
ver on Sunday.
Jimmy Belzer, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Francis Belzer, stayed in the
Charles Fox home Sunday while
his parents attented a ball game
and picnic at Springview.

day evening at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Mickey Stewart north
of O’Neill. Among those who were
present were Mr. and Mrs. Wil
liam McIntosh, Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Evans, Mr. and Mrs. Elgin
Ray and Mr. and Mrs. L. A.
Becker.
On Sunday evening a baseball
picnic was held at Meadville.
The members of the O’Neill
Rockets ball team, their wives
and invited guests attended. '
Miss Betty Gallagher returned
home on Friday after spending
a three- weeks vacation visiting
places at Quebec, Montreal,
Canada, Gaspe peninsula, New
York and Chicago, 111.
