Mrs. Sexton and Nadine spent Saturday and Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Wendel Pearson, and daughter and with their mother, Mrs. Bryant, who is staying with her daughter. Mr. Sexton drove on to Haddam, Kans., to visit his parents. James . . . gelling basic training in Texas. ★ ★ ★ Thomas . . . working on atomic experiments in desert. ★ ★ ★ 4 Kubiks Wear Uniforms Four sons of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kubik of O’Neill have seen military service and three of them presently are in uniform. T/Sgt. Donald served in World War II during which he spent nearly three years in the Philippine Islands and Japan. At the end of the war he was separated and is now manager of the Ford garage at Holbrook, Ariz. Joseph has served three years in the army and on February 13 reenlisted for three more years. He is stationed at Ft. Riley, Kans., but in about three months expects to be sent to Germany as a military policeman, which was his duty during his first enlistment. Pfc. James entered the army February 4 and is receiving his basic training at Ft. Bliss, Tex., in field artillery. Seaman Thomas is stationed at Mercury, Nev., and is assigned duty with atomic experiments. He has been in the navy two years.
