Fourteen girls and six mothers were pres | ent. Mrs. Held will be the lead er of the club and Mrs. Lorenz Riege and Mrs. J. O. Ballantyne assistants. The following officers were elected: Faye Irene Ballantyne, president; Brenda Beelaert, vice president; Kathleen Walker, sec retary and treasurer, and Sharon Crumly, news reporter. After the business meeting games were played. Mrs. Held served lunch. The next meeting will be on the evening of Feb ruary 24. Cur tis. who had attained the rank of captain in the army, had returned with his family from Hawaii only a few months ago. The Cur tis home here has been rented to Ronald Helmer.
