Big Sale Forecast Today
• There will be lots of yearling steers and heifers on the mar
ket today (Thursday), a two-weeks accumulation inasmuch
as there was ne sale Thanksgiving day. There will be a big load
of young cows. The run on calves is tapering-off and fewer
calves than usual are expected today. There will be the usual run
of mixed cattle. Stocker and feeder trade was low and dull ear
lier in the week at the terminals.
* There will be around 400 head of hogs today, mostly feeder
pigs. The hog sale will get underway at 12 o'clock noon.
