X-rays showed no broken bones but she received many bruises. . . . Mrs. Donald Clyde arrived home last Thursday from a hos pital in Grand Island where she had been a polio patient. Mrs. Clyde suffered no paralysis but the muscles and joints in her right leg are very weak and she needs the aid of crutches to walk. It will be at least two weeks be fore the muscles will regain their strength. . . Mrs. Bertha Prescott was taken to the O’Neill hospital Sunday by Mrs. Ernest Price. Mrs. Prescott received medical treatment. She returned to her i home the same day but is under a doctor’s care. . . Ann Gamel, 6, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. San ford Gamel near Cedar Rapids, was burned from her knee to her ankle when a can of gasoline ex ploded near a trash fire. Her clothing did not catch fire.
