Nissen left Saturday morning for a vacation trip for the summer- They will | first go to Elmira, N.Y, where i they will visit Mrs. Nissen’s brother, Charles Jackson, and family. From there they will go through the states and parts of southern Canada west to Oregon, where they will visit Mrs. Nis sen’s son-in-la and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Cooke. From there they will go to California to visit (Mrs. Nissen’s two sons and another daughter and their families. The Page school closed Friday. All the grades enjoyed outings for the day. Fifty or more of the high school students with Supt. John Lamason, Ralph Brostrom and Miss Phyllis Shaul went to Neligh where they enjoyed roller skat ing and a picnic dinner. Jerome Allen took them to Neligh in his large truck. All the grade pupils over the third grade and their teachers, Mrs. Faye Taylor and Mrs. Hazel Park, also went to Ne lighfor roller skating and a pic niclunch. Donald Snyder took them in a truck. The primary pu pils and their teacher, Miss'Car men Roach, and several of the mothers went to O’Neill for a picnic in the park.
